  Common Questions About The Area

Don't Forget To Request Our Free Relocation Guide & CD

  • Being from out of state how do we figure out what part of AR is the best for us?  Good question ! I suggest a vacation to our area and I can give you a free tour. That way you will see things you might miss if you try to explore the area completely on your own.

  • What is the average turn around time for a home in your area?  That depends on the price range of the home and if it's priced right. The homes under $150,000 seem to be selling quicker...within a few weeks to a few months. Some have even sold in a few days.

  • What type of charges does your company have?  We do not charge the buyers a fee. In this area the sellers pay the realtor's fee.

  • Would you consider it a buyers or sellers market in AR?  Right now it depends on your price range. Homes under $150,000--probably a seller's market. Homes over $150,000----buyers and sellers are on an even playing field.

  • Are most of the homes selling for the asking price or below/above?  Very close to the asking price or just under if the home is priced right.

  • Would we need to be pre-qualified in order to buy a home??  That is not absolutely necessary but it is a good idea.

  • What would you consider the worst part of living in AR? and the best?  The worst part for me is the couple of months of hot summer, although it's really not that bad if you like warm weather. The best part is the four seasons and the mild winters. And of course low taxes and low crime.

  • What is the best time of year to visit AR to get a realistic idea of how hot & humid it is?  July & August.

  • Do you offer any free places to stay when we make our trip to check out the area?  I can get you a Realtor's discount at most of the Motels/Resorts in the area and if you let me know where you are staying my Famous Goodie Bagwill be there waiting for you. !

  • Do you have a Relocation Guidethat you can send me?  Yes and we also have an Internet Interactive Area Information CD that will give you more insight into what to expect of the Mountain Home AREA.
